First step: Kilowhat configuration
Select the encoder you want to use for BPM control and configure its Rotary behavior to Relative Signed bit mode. We suggest using Speed Accel 3, but you can test the one that best fits your needs.

Second step: Mapping in Ableton Live
In Ableton, you will find two different mapping options for BPM: Coarse and Fine
Coarse: map the encoder to the Coarse value. After mapping it, check the Mode menu at the bottom-left and choose Signed bit 2 in the options. If you want to jump from 1 bpm at a time, you have to set the minimum and maximum values of the midi mapping so that the difference between the Min and Max is 256. I.E: Min = 20, Max = 276.

Fine: select and map to the Fine value. After mapping it, check the Mode menu at the bottom-left and choose Signed bit 2 in the options.
